Michael started with NOW Group back in April 2023 on the SkillSet Programme and has completed many different training courses with our Training team as well as the Digital Academy with Citi Bank in 2023. Michael was successful in gaining his first paid job role with Albertville surgery in Belfast and was initially hesitant as he had never worked in an office environment before. With the support of his employment officer Karen, as well as the introduction of Workable and using the skills he gained through our academies, Michael continues to show how he is pushing outside of his comfort zone and is performing extremely well. Michael’s manager has already commended his work and stated that she has never had a staff member work so efficiently so soon after starting their role. This is a huge milestone for Michael as well as a collaborative effort from EOs and Workable to ensure Michael stays in his role and gains more confidence to help him succeed and become independent in his employment.
